The Cross Guild takes action in One Piece

The pursuit of the One Piece treasure in One Piece is reaching a boiling point with all the top players vying for it. The recent defeats of Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law at the hands of Shanks and Blackbeard, respectively, have left only a few pirates in the race to claim the legendary treasure. Among the main contenders are Monkey D. Luffy, Shanks, and Blackbeard, who have all expressed their desire to find the One Piece.

In a surprising twist, Buggy, the fourth Emperor, was revealed as a candidate in Chapter 1082. Buggy had been named one of the Four Emperors after the events of the Wano Country arc, but the World Government was tricked by his reputation. They believed that Buggy was a dangerous pirate with connections to Gol D. Roger and Shanks and had knowledge about the One Piece. However, Buggy was primarily focused on solidifying his business and gaining wealth, not the legendary treasure left behind by his late captain.

Buggy’s motive to claim the One Piece changed when he learned that Shanks, his former apprentice and best friend, was finally making his move to claim the treasure. This stirred up dormant feelings inside Buggy, and he gave an emotional speech about how the words of Gol D. Roger still inspire people to this day. Despite opposition from the leaders of the Cross Guild, Dracule Mihawk and Crocodile, Buggy’s followers were ready to go and claim the legendary treasure.

The Cross Guild was formed to curb the power of the Marines, and they had been successful in gathering support from pirates and criminals around the world. However, their plan for the organization differed from Buggy’s, and they tried to stop him from riling up his underlings. Mihawk and Crocodile even thrashed Buggy in an attempt to stop him, but his spirits were not easily crushed.

If Mihawk and Crocodile decide to kill Buggy, they will lose the support of his underlings, who consider him their savior. The only remaining option is to go along with Buggy’s decision and join the race for the One Piece. The Cross Guild has more manpower than most of the other contenders, but they lack top fighters to challenge the other three crews. However, if Buggy has any recollection of where the Road Poneglyphs are located or knows of some other way of reaching Laugh Tale, the Cross Guild could avoid going after the other three Emperors.

It remains to be seen if Buggy still has some idea about how to reach Laugh Tale, but his decision to join the race for the One Piece has certainly added more excitement to the already intense pursuit of the legendary treasure.
