My Hero Academia confirms fan theory about Rei Todoroki

In the world of My Hero Academia, fan theories have been a constant source of speculation and excitement. From the origins of certain quirks to the backstories of certain villains, fans have always enjoyed delving into the hidden depths of the series. Over time, some of these theories have been proven true, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the already captivating narrative. And now, a new theory has been confirmed by the manga, and it’s got fans talking.

For those who have been keeping up with the latest developments in the My Hero Academia manga, the recent revelation will not come as a surprise. In chapter 387, which was released this week, two villains – Mr. Compress and Geten – take center stage in their jail cells. It is here that we learn about the history of the icy villain, Geten, and his connection to another character in the series – Rei Todoroki.

Fans had long speculated that Rei and Geten were related, and now it has been confirmed. But the revelation goes deeper than that. We already knew that the Himura clan, to which Rei belonged, was a shady organization, but Geten’s backstory reveals just how terrible the family really was.

According to Geten, the Himura clan was once a powerful family in Japan that controlled villages and established branch families to strengthen their icy quirk. To maintain their power, the Himura clan practiced incest for generations to preserve their quirk. However, their power eventually waned, and in an attempt to make some sort of profit, the clan’s elders began selling off younger members, such as Rei and Enji.

As for Geten, he was sold off to Redestro, the leader of the Paranormal Liberation Front, who became a father figure to him. While Rei and Geten were born into the Himura clan at different times, they both experienced the same fate – being sold for cash. One can only imagine what happened to others in the clan, and how many lives were destroyed by their twisted practices.

Now, the Himura bloodline is linked to some of the most significant events in My Hero Academia’s story. Dabi and Shoto carry the blood of their parents, making the Himura clan a player in the global stage. And at the end of chapter 387, it’s clear that Rei Todoroki is not going to let her sons go to war without her by their side.

This latest revelation about the Himura clan and their practices adds a new layer of depth and complexity to the story of My Hero Academia. It’s just another example of how the series continues to surprise and captivate its fans, keeping them on the edge of their seats as they wait for the next chapter to drop.
