‘Migration’ Secures Significant Victory in Worldwide Box Office

The latest animated offering from Illumination, featuring the vocal talents of Kumail Nanjiani and Elizabeth Banks, has achieved a noteworthy milestone in the global box office arena. Critical reception for Migration has been predominantly positive, reflected in its current “fresh” 72% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. The film, produced on a reported budget of $72 million—a common range for contemporary animated films—underlines the trend of studios keeping budgets in check, with exceptions like Disney’s continued investments exceeding $150 million for its animated productions.
