Aquaman 2 Joins DCEU’s Top 10 Highest-Grossing Movies

In spite of receiving a mixed critical reception, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom defied expectations at the box office, solidifying its standing as the 7th highest-grossing film in the DCEU globally and the 9th highest domestically. The film’s remarkable performance served as a testament to the enduring popularity and box office draw of Jason Momoa, who portrayed Aquaman with undeniable charisma and authenticity.

Notably, the DCEU experienced a significant shift in late 2022 and early 2023 with the announcement of the DC Universe, a reboot helmed by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
