“Disney Reschedules and Cancels 2024/2025 Movie Releases”

Disney is making adjustments to its upcoming movie releases for 2024 and 2025. With strikes affecting the production of several future projects, studios are starting to modify their release schedules. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is no exception, with two films being completely removed from their schedule and several others experiencing date changes. These changes affect movies from Disney, Searchlight, and Pixar, with one movie now listed as “unset,” three having their release dates pushed back, and two awaiting new release dates.

For instance, the untitled Disney movie initially set for February 14, 2024, has been rescheduled to April 5, 2024. “Elio,” previously planned for release on March 1, 2024, is now postponed to June 13, 2025. “Disney’s Snow White,” originally scheduled for March 22, 2024, will now hit theaters a year later on March 21, 2025. Furthermore, an untitled Disney movie planned for that same date in 2025 has been removed from the schedule, as well as an untitled Pixar movie previously set for June 13, 2025. While these changes bring some uncertainty to moviegoers, the nature of these unrevealed projects remains a mystery until closer to their release dates.

Marvel Studios has also made adjustments to its release dates, affecting films like “Deadpool 3,” “Captain America: Brave New World,” “Thunderbolts,” “Blade,” “Fantastic Four,” “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.” While fans eagerly await the return of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the big screen, they can enjoy series like “Loki” on Disney+. Kevin Wright, the show’s executive producer, promises that the final two episodes of Season 2 will be remarkable, building on the shocking events in the latest episode. This approach allows for unexpected twists and turns as the series unfolds.
