Preview the upcoming additions to Tokyo Disney: new sections based on ‘Frozen,’ ‘Tangled,’ and Peter Pan

Tokyo Disney is a must-visit for many Disney fans, and next spring, it will become even more exciting with the opening of a major expansion centered around beloved Disney franchises.

Named Fantasy Springs, this expansion will become the park’s eighth port, akin to themed lands in DisneySea’s context. It’s set to encompass three distinct areas: the Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Never Land. Additionally, a new hotel named Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel is in the works, promising an integrated experience with various dining options and top-notch accommodation.

Disney has now unveiled more details about the four new attractions coming to Fantasy Springs:

  1. Peter Pan’s Never Land: Capitalizing on Peter Pan’s popularity, this section will feature two unique attractions. In “Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies,” guests will help Tinker Bell deliver packages in Pixie Hollow. “Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure” is a 3-D quest to save John from Captain Hook, involving both Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. An explorable pirate ship and a themed counter-service restaurant, Lookout Cookout, will further enhance the experience.
  2. Rapunzel’s Forest: Going beyond the “Tangled”-themed spots found in the U.S. parks, Rapunzel’s Forest will host an attraction named “Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival.” This ride will take visitors on a romantic boat journey with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider to the annual lantern festival. Guests can also encounter Rapunzel’s tower and dine at The Snuggly Duckling, a counter-service eatery known for its lively atmosphere.
  3. Frozen Kingdom: Building on the immense popularity of the Frozen franchise, Fantasy Springs will introduce a complete Frozen Kingdom. The new attraction, “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey,” will follow the storyline of the first “Frozen” film, complete with familiar songs. The section will also include two dining venues: a snack shop called Oaken’s OK Foods and a counter-service restaurant named Royal Banquet of Arendelle within Arendelle Castle.

Moreover, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel promises to offer an unparalleled experience, seamlessly integrated into the park and offering a range of dining choices.

As Tokyo Disney enthusiasts eagerly await the spring of 2024, it’s clear that Fantasy Springs is poised to provide a whole new level of enchantment, bringing these cherished Disney stories to life in an immersive and unforgettable way.
