Shrek is Back in Latest DreamWorks Kart Racing Game

“The beloved Shrek is making a long-awaited return to video games, joining other classic animated characters in a fresh DreamWorks kart racing game.

Shrek, the much-loved animated figure, is making a triumphant comeback to the gaming world in the upcoming title DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing. The original Shrek film captured audiences in 2001 with its endearing characters and playful take on traditional Disney fairytales. Subsequently, several Shrek video games were released during the heyday of the character’s popularity, with titles like Shrek 2 and Shrek SuperSlam garnering attention.

Now, Shrek is set to become a playable character in DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing, a new racing game from GameMill Entertainment and Bamtang Games. The game features a roster of 20 DreamWorks movie characters, including Puss in Boots, Po, Tigress from Kung Fu Panda, Boss Baby, and Hiccup and Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon. The Deluxe Edition includes two additional characters: Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda and Wolf from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The races are hosted by characters from the Troll movies, and players can collect Trolls for added support during races. Iconic settings from various DreamWorks movies, such as the Kingdom of Far Far Away from Shrek, Bergen Town from Trolls, and more, will be featured in the game.

DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing promises a delightful experience for fans of the studio’s animated films, particularly those who hold a special place for Shrek. This marks Shrek’s return to video games after a long hiatus, generating excitement among gamers who fondly remember the character’s movies from the early-to-mid-2000s.
