With just two weeks remaining until the movie’s premiere, anticipation is at its peak.

The second character preview focuses on Yuno, highlighting him as a worthy rival to Asta in their quest to become the Wizard King. Yuno confidently declares his ambition to obtain the title, but Asta quickly counters, asserting his own determination. Yuno showcases his Wind Spirit Bell and declares that they are going all out. His Captain, William Vangeance, appears, entrusting Yuno with the responsibility of guarding the current Wizard King, Julius Novachrono.

The preview showcases Yuno’s impressive combat skills as he fights alongside Asta against unidentified adversaries, displaying a range of spells and abilities. The trailer concludes by emphasizing the release date of Friday, June 16, 2023, at 12 am Pacific Standard Time.

The Black Clover movie, titled Sword of the Wizard King, will be available for streaming on Netflix worldwide, with a theatrical run in Japan. While international theatrical releases have not been announced yet, Netflix seems to be the primary viewing option for fans outside of Japan. Studio Pierrot, known for producing the television anime, is responsible for the animation of the film, with the returning cast and staff from the series.

The movie introduces a new antagonist, Konrad Leto, a former Wizard King, who poses a vindictive threat to the Clover Kingdom. It remains uncertain whether the events depicted in the film will be considered canon to the mainline series.
