My Hero Academia Chapter 390 release delayed due to manga hiatus

Weekly Shonen Jump’s Editorial Department recently announced that the beloved manga series, “My Hero Academia,” will be going on an unexpected break in the upcoming issue of the magazine. This unfortunate news comes as a result of production issues that have arisen during the creation of the manga.

Chapter 390 of “My Hero Academia,” which was originally scheduled for release on May 28, will now be delayed and released on June 5, 2023, in the magazine’s issue #27. The editorial team expressed their sincere apologies to the dedicated fans who were eagerly looking forward to reading the new chapter. It is always disappointing when a highly anticipated release gets postponed, but the creators and publishers are committed to delivering the best quality content to their readers.

Additionally, it was revealed that despite the delay, “My Hero Academia” was still listed in the table of contents for the issue. Unfortunately, due to certain constraints in the printing process, the necessary corrections and adjustments could not be made in time. The editorial team expressed their regret for this oversight and apologized for any confusion it may have caused among the readers.

The full statement from the Weekly Shonen Jump Editorial Department reads as follows:

“To all readers,

Thank you very much for your continued support and readership of ‘My Hero Academia.’

Due to production circumstances, there will be a hiatus in the publication of ‘My Hero Academia’ for the upcoming issue.

To all the readers who have been eagerly anticipating it, I deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment. Furthermore, although ‘My Hero Academia’ is listed in this issue’s table of contents, due to printing processes, the necessary corrections could not be made in time.

The continuation will resume in Issue 27 (to be released on June 5th).
