My Hero Academia takes an unexpected hiatus in May

My Hero Academia, known as one of the top manga series, has encountered a last-minute hiatus. As a superhero story that stands among the likes of One Piece and has influenced other successful series like Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia garners significant attention each week with the release of new chapters. However, it appears that the manga has experienced an unexpected delay.

Insiders within the My Hero Academia community, such as RukasuMHA, have shared the update regarding the manga’s hiatus. A leaked table of contents has revealed that My Hero Academia will be taking a sudden break in Weekly Shonen Jump #26 but is expected to resume in issue #27.

Naturally, fans are curious about the reason behind this hiatus. Recent reports suggest that production issues have led to the break. However, this explanation has done little to alleviate readers’ concerns about the health of the manga’s creator.

In the past six months, My Hero Academia has encountered several last-minute breaks due to artist Kohei Horikoshi’s health concerns.
