My Hero Academia on hiatus before Chapter 390

The My Hero Academia manga has unexpectedly gone on another unannounced break, causing a delay in the release of chapter 390. Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia follows the journey of Izuku Midoriya, a young boy who inherits the powerful One For All quirk from the legendary hero All Might. The sudden break in the My Hero Academia manga was announced in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump #26 in Japan. The magazine disclosed that the manga would be on hiatus for a week due to necessary production corrections that needed to be made to the draft before its publication. Unfortunately, these corrections could not be completed in time for the printing process, leading to the unexpected break. However, readers can look forward to the series resuming as scheduled in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump #27, with chapter 390 set to be released worldwide on Monday, June 5, 2023.

As is common when a manga takes an abrupt break, fans expressed concern for Kohei Horikoshi’s well-being, assuming that the mangaka might be facing difficulties with his demanding schedule. Some fans even suggested that he should take a more extended break of two to three months to ensure his health and well-being.
