Shueisha, the publishing company behind the One Punch Man manga series, has unveiled the cover art for the upcoming volume 28, which is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023. The eye-catching cover features an unexpected pairing of characters – Genos and Tatsumaki.

One Punch Man, originally created by ONE as a webcomic and later illustrated by Yusuke Murata for the manga adaptation, follows the story of Saitama, a hero from Z-city who can defeat any opponent with a single punch. However, this incredible power has left him feeling bored and unfulfilled in his heroic endeavors.

The cover art for volume 28 of One Punch Man showcases the unlikely coalition of Genos, the “Demon Cyborg,” and Tatsumaki, known as “The Tornado of Terror.” While their interactions in the specific chapters included in this volume are limited, the decision to feature them on the cover may be attributed to the popularity of shipping these characters together based on events from the previous volume.

Fans reacted with excitement upon seeing the new cover art, praising the talents of Mangaka Yusuke Murata and the original creator, ONE.
