Wreck-It Ralph 2 Director Hints at Internet Setting and Returning Characters

Hollywood’s penchant for producing sequels is no secret, driven primarily by their potential for box office success. Yet, not all sequels are created equal; many feel contrived and unnecessary. Phil Johnston, known for his contributions as a writer on both “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Zootopia,” will collaborate with Moore as director and writer for this exciting project.

While the story remains shrouded in mystery, we do know that Ralph will be embarking on an adventure within the realm of the internet. Fans of the original film had long speculated about the possibility of a “TRON” reference, and Moore confirmed that there would indeed be a nod to this iconic franchise in the sequel.
