Walt Disney theme park provides a glimpse of its inaugural ‘Frozen’ land

Walt Disney, the renowned theme park giant, is determined to meet the standard set by Universal’s highly successful Wizarding World of Harry Potter lands. Over the past decade, the concept of fully immersive, real-life fictional vacation destinations has gained tremendous popularity. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hong Kong’s Lantau Mountain, the footage showcases the nearing completion of various iconic landmarks from the film, including the clock tower, Elsa’s Ice Palace, and Arendelle Castle.

Scheduled to debut later this year, the World of Frozen represents Disneyland Hong Kong’s most expansive expansion to date. Beyond the awe-inspiring snow-capped landscapes of Elsa and Anna’s kingdom, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a multitude of Frozen-themed activities. The Frozen Ever After ride promises an encounter with lifelike, full-scale Audio-Animatronics figures meticulously crafted by Disney’s team of Imagineers. Additionally, guests can enjoy the family-friendly roller coaster known as Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, savor delectable delights at a quick-service restaurant, and explore various shops brimming with exclusive Disney merchandise.

Guests from near and far are invited to partake in this joyous celebration,” stated Michel Den Dulk, the Executive Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering, setting the stage for a truly immersive experience in the World of Frozen.

As Walt Disney celebrates its centennial this year, marking 100 years since the founding of the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio by Walt and Roy Disney in 1923, the company has planned a grand series of events and celebrations. The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California will serve as the epicenter of the festivities. However, each Disney park worldwide will commemorate the occasion in its own unique way, and there are several highly-anticipated new rides and attractions set to delight visitors throughout the year.
