My Hero Academia chapter 388’s ending suggests trouble ahead for Shoto Todoroki

The chapter ends with Endeavor hoping that his family does not die, and an alternate version of the Todoroki family is shown with a grown-up, happy Toya present. While the entire Todoroki family is present in the panel, Shoto is still on his way to Gunga, and his family members are currently there.

There is speculation that the Todoroki family may lose one or more of its members soon, with Dabi’s impending death being a major piece of evidence. It is suggested that his body will disintegrate, and it is unlikely that both Fuyumi and Natsuo will die.
