Does Hana Kurusu possess her own cursed technique in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 221 sees the Culling Game players and their allies preparing to face off against Sukuna and Kenjaku. Hana Kurusu, who had been injured by Kenjaku’s attack, lost her arm and with it, her connection to Angel’s cursed technique. This raises the question of whether Hana has a cursed technique of her own.

In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 210, Hana’s backstory reveals that she had the ability to see curses since she was a child. It is not clear how she met Angel, but it is likely that Hana offered to become a vessel for the ancient sorcerer to gain strength. Their symbiotic relationship may have allowed Hana to use Angel’s cursed technique and jujutsu.

Angel explains that Sukuna is unique in being able to shift to different vessels, whereas the other ancient sorcerers who reincarnated in modern times were unable to turn themselves into cursed objects after death. Hana’s relationship with Angel suggests that she may now host the ancient sorcerer’s soul like a cursed object, giving her access to the cursed technique.

Yuji has become similar to a cursed object soaked in Sukuna’s cursed energy and can manipulate cursed energy, but he did not inherit Sukuna’s cursed technique. Therefore, Hana’s situation may be similar to Yuji’s in that she hosts Angel’s soul, but whether she is considered a cursed object remains unclear.
